It is a highly competitive, portable fellowship awarded to U.S. citizens and nationals who intend to pursue a doctoral degree in one of fifteen supported disciplines.

The Bibliographical Society of the University of Virginia awards Battestin Fellowhips, a program for summer fellowships in bibliographic and textual studies, named in honor of Martin and Ruthe Battestin. The program makes three awards of $3500 each for research in the collections of the UVA library by UVA graduate students with an emphasis on physical or textual bibliography.

The American Psychological Foundation (APF) provides financial support of innovative research and programs that enhance the power of psychology to elevate the human condition and advance human potential both now and in generations to come. The Elizabeth Munsterberg Koppitz Fellowship is open to doctoral students studying child psychology. Four fellowships of up to $25,000 and two runner-up scholarships of $5,000 will be awarded for a term of one year.

The Dolores Zohrab Liebmann fund provides graduate school fellowships in any recognized field of study in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences (including law, medicine, engineering, architecture, or other formal professional training), as well as funding independent research or study projects.
