How to Design an Effective Research Poster (postdoc symposium-focus)

Option 2 of 2 (similar content to the March 3 session) PhD Plus is excited to co-host a series of Research Presentation Workshops over the coming months in collaboration with the planning committees for the UVA Postdoc Symposium. This series is designed to support postdoctoral scholars who are planning to present at the 2025 Postdoctoral Research Symposium or an off-Grounds conference.This session of the Research Presentation Series will take place from 3:00-4:30 pm in the Clark Hall - Brown Library, Classroom 133. This 1.5-hour workshop will highlight how you can design a poster to connect with your audience and more effectively communicate your research. This interactive workshop will help you reflect on what you want to share with your audience and how to design a poster that includes the essential information for your poster presentation.   LOCATION DETAILSPlease note that the in-person room location has changed. We will now be hosting this session in Clark Hall – Brown Library, Classroom 133 (downloadable directions below).  We encourage you to join us in person in Clark Hall, Classroom 133, which is located in the Charles L.
