PhD+ is hosting a condensed version of our NSF GRFP Summer Workshop Series on Wednesday, August 24 at 3:00 PM. The two-hour GRFP Fall Bootcamp will provide insight into what reviewers are looking for, a chance to break down and understand the strengths of past applications, receive small group feedback on your personal and research statements, and more.
Prior to the event, attendees should reflect on 4-6 personal experiences and stories they could include in their statements and watch recordings of the summer panels discussions. These recordings highlight: 1) how reviewers discuss and rank applications based on the evaluation criteria, and identify strengths and weaknesses of applications, and 2) insight and tips from successful past applicants on how they approached their written statements, and strategies for finding your unique story.
